Mr. Md. Kamrul Islam is currently holding the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh. He has been teaching as a full term faculty since 2013. He has completed his B. Pharm. (Hons.) and M. Pharm. from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, University of Dhaka, respectively. He has showed his expertise in theoretical and practical area on various subjects of the pharmaceutical sciences. His research interest is to pursue innovative research in the field of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics especially the modification of drugs into different dosage forms to improve the biopharmaceutical characteristics as well as to improve in vivo absorption characteristics. He has also extensively engaged himself with several research based work focusing on formulation development. He is the author or co-author of more than 10 papers in national and international referred journals.
