Rahat Ibna Hasan is a Bangladeshi architect and educator who graduated from BUET in 2021. After gaining professional experience at Studio Morphogenesis, he transitioned into teaching, combining academic involvement with architectural practice. His design philosophy focuses on contextual sensitivity, social responsibility, and sustainable innovation. His undergraduate thesis, titled “Weaving Shared Reality: A Sustainable Living Model for RMG Workers,” explored inclusive and community-centered housing solutions for Bangladesh’s garment industry workforce, emphasizing social integration and environmental sustainability.Rahat’s works have earned national and international recognition. His achievements include the IAB Award for IAB Crest (2020), the Tamayouz Award (2021) for his thesis project, a Special Mention (2023) in “Envisioning a Safe and Sustainable Life with Architecture for a Water Nomad Community in Bangladesh,” organized by the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) with support from Oxfam, and the Berger Award for Excellence in Architecture (2024) for a residential project
