Fahrin Jahan Suchana currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy at the State University of Bangladesh. She earned her Bachelor of Professional Pharmacy degree from the University of Dhaka and went on to complete her Master of Pharmacy degree at the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology, University of Dhaka. Her master's thesis, titled "Variation of Gene Encoding Glutathione Peroxidase-1 in Patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Bangladeshi Population," earned her the prestigious National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship for the year 2022-23 from the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Fahrin's educational journey is complemented by practical experiences, including industrial training at Popular Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and a six-month hospital training program at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. Prior to her current role in academia, she worked as a research fellow for six months at the Bangladesh Reference Institute for Chemical Measurement, where she gained expertise in utilizing analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV, and others. Her diverse background and dedication to her field make her a valuable contributor to the world of pharmacy and research.
