Abida Sultana is an enthusiastic and committed teacher and researcher in the field of pharmacy and pharmaceutical science. She is now employed as a lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh. She has successfully completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy (professional) degree from the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Dhaka as well as her Master of Pharmacy degree from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka. The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh has awarded her the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship, 2022–2023, in recognition of her master's thesis work. Her work focuses on generating, characterizing, and in vitro assessing of plant extract-based nanoparticles. In addition to her impressive academic records, she has additionally completed an industrial training program from Renata Ltd. and a six-month hospital training program at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
