The University operates in three locations, one in Dhanmondi, one in Kalabagan, and one in Kanchan, Purbachal. The campus at 77 Satmasjid Road, Dhanmondi is a seven-storied building which houses a major part of administrative complexes and some academic departments, such as Computer Science and Engineering, Public Health, Pharmacy and Law. The campus at Kalabagan, known as Bijoy Campus, is a nine-storied building and houses some administrative offices as well as some other academic departments, such as English Studies, Business Studies, Architecture and Journalism, Communication and Media Studies, Food Science and Engineering and Environmental Science. The permanent campus located in Kanchan, South Purbachal is going to be a world class campus with state-of-the art facilities and on-campus accommodation for students, faculty and staff. The campus is easily accessible by car or bus from anywhere in Dhaka City. The existing academic buildings offer rooms for classes, media labs, design studios, faculty, seminar, a library, admissions, accounts and guardians. The University provides a shuttle service for the students, faculty and staff. Some of the departments have been conducting their academic activities there since 1st October, 2018. Currently the campus offers facilities including a sporting zone, canteen, stationery shop, food court, a big open play ground and 5000 (five thousand) sft open space for social and cultural activities. At present, an on-campus 10 storey-dormitory is under construction to guarantee a secure and convenient accommodation for the students to ensure a happy and peaceful university life for them. The campus will also have faculty dormitory facilities with all kinds of modern amenities. Upon completion of the construction, all departments will have their own dedicated space and common facilities. Special facilities will include spacious design studios for Architecture, JCMS multimedia lab, CSE computer lab, Pharmacy lab, Food Engineering lab, Auditorium, Club rooms, Gymnasium, and separate dormitories for male students. Both the dormitories and academic buildings will have free Wi-Fi internet facility, with a CCTV network, ensuring the safety and security of all within the premises. The permanent campus of SUB is going to be a superb, vibrant and first-class campus.
