Our Law Students Are Making a Real Difference in the Community!
Our Batch 42 law students just completed 7 amazing workshops as part of their Environmental Law course. Here's what they did:
Workshops Conducted:1. "Importance of Climate Change Awareness in Bangladesh" – Munsirhat Tahera Khatun Girls' High School, Comilla
2. "Legal Recognition to Effective Enforcement: Reforming River Governance in Bangladesh" – Protiva Kindergarten and High School, Narayanganj
3. "Single-Use Plastic Ban and Public Enforcement in Bangladesh" – SpaandanB Non-Profit School, Mirpur
4. "Defenders of the Wild: How Laws Protect Animals and Forests" – Uttara High School, Dhaka
5. "Natural Environment and Awareness of Environmental Law" – Dr. Maleka College, Dhanmondi
6. "Saving the Lifelines: River Protection and the Polluter Pays Principle" – Agrani Uchchobiddaloy, Kanchon, Narayanganj.
7. "Clean Air & Clean Water: Combating Pollution through Environmental Law" – Nawabpur Government High School, Dhaka
What Students Learned:Young people discovered their constitutional right to a safe and clean environment. Through hands-on training and interactive quizzes, they engaged with real environmental laws and understood how these rules protect our country.
Why This Matters:This is what university education should do—connect classroom learning with actual community needs. Our law students proved they can teach, inspire, and empower the next generation to become responsible citizens.
