Mr. Sohel Bashar is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, State University of Bangladesh. He joined the department in January, 2023. He received his B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2022. Prior to this, he obtained HSC from Notre Dame College, Dhaka (NDC) and SSC from Cantonment English School & College , Chittagong (standing 3rd in Chittagong Board). In his undergraduate thesis work, he worked on developing better clustering algorithms for road accident analysis in Dhaka City. In his masters, he is trying to make use of machine learning/deep learning techniques for improving prediction of various protein attributes. His research interests lie in the areas of Computational Biology, Machine Learning/Deep Learning , and Algorithms.
