Sarwat Azad Bristi completed her Masters in English Literature in 2022 and BA (Honours) in English in 2020 from the Department of English, University of Dhaka (DU). She joined the Department of English Studies, State University of Bangladesh (SUB) in 2023 and has started taking core literary courses- Literary Criticism, Drama and Theatre, 18th Century Fiction, American Literature as well as basic English skill courses. She has participated in several courses organized by the British Council. Besides, she has been involved in the field of acting for various television Channels right after holding a position at a beauty contest (Lux SuperStar 2018) and has played particular drama and plays on stage. Moreover, she is adept at classical forms of dance (Katthak and Bharatnatyam) as she has done her graduation from BAFA (Bulbul Lalitokola Academy for Fine Arts). On that account, her expertise in extracurricular activities benefits students more efficiently as these are aligned with her courses. Her area of interest includes Modernism and Postmodernism, Literary Criticism, Postcolonial Literature.
