Mr. Md. Abdus Samadd presently serves as a Lecturer within the Department of Pharmacy at the State University of Bangladesh. He holds both a Bachelor of Professional Pharmacy degree and a Master of Pharmacy degree from the University of Dhaka. During his final year as a B. Pharm. student, he undertook a project titled "An Abbreviated Analysis of Food Anthocyanin and Its Benefits." In his pursuit of an M. Pharm. degree, his thesis work explored the "Phyto-pharmacology Evaluation of Mesua ferrea and Drimycarpus racemosus." Notably, he secured the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship for the 2022-23 term, a distinction awarded by the Government of the Peopleโs Republic of Bangladesh, in recognition of his recent research contributions. His ongoing research is fixated on unraveling the "Therapeutic Implications of Medicinal Plant Resources" indigenous to Bangladesh. Beyond his academic accolades, he gained practical experience through training stints at Pacific Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and a half-year hospital-based training engagement at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital. His research interests encompass not only Public Health but also the intriguing realm of Computational Chemistry.
