SUB Pharmacy Department Published 94 Scientific Articles in 2022

The Department of Pharmacy, State University of Bangladesh (SUB) has been providing pharmacy education in Bangladesh since 2004. It is one of the pioneering departments in the private sector due to its excellent teaching and research activities. The department provides students with a high-class education by ensuring excellent teaching from highly qualified and skilled faculty members, comprehensive hands-on training in the labs, and cutting-edge research endeavors. Through its well-equipped and state-of-the-art laboratories and technical expertise on the most recent advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, the department enhances the research potential of the students and has already emerged as a leader in spheres of higher education and learning at home and abroad. Consequently, in 2022, the faculty members of the department have published a total of 94 scientific articles in internationally recognized peer-reviewed and top-ranking scientific journals. The Elsevier Scopus, Web of Science, and PubMed databases have indexed the lion’s share of the published papers, and most of the articles have been published by world-famous publishers such as Elsevier, Springer, Taylor & Francis, SAGE, Wiley, Cell Press, BioMed Central, Hindawi, Frontiers, MDPI, and so on. It can be noted that several young faculty members of the department have contributed to most of the articles. It is also a piece of glorious news that Mr. Md. Jamal Hossain, working as a Lecturer at the Department, has been listed in the top contributor list of Bangladeshi scientists made by the Elsevier Scopus database due to his maximum number of publications from the department (Ref.: Scientific Bangladesh). The SUB higher authority congratulated the faculty members of the Department of Pharmacy, especially Prof. Dr. Mohammad A. Rashid, Advisor of the department, who has been directing and running the department with his dedicated efforts and wise leadership for the last nearly two decades. It is hoped that the department will conduct more impactful research and publication in the future and contribute to the advancement of the scientific community.
