A scientific seminar organized by the Department of Pharmacy on two modern advancements of drug delivery systems: Nanoparticle and 3D Printing Drug Delivery Systems, was held on 14 August 2022 at the Seminar room in the own campus. Professor Mohsin Kazi (Ph.D.), Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University, and Visiting Academic of Monash University, Australia, delivered a valuable presentation as Keynote Speaker of the seminar. The keynote speaker shared his recent research findings and patents on self-nano emulsifying drug delivery using Curcumin and Lansoprazole for the treatment of peptic ulcers by applying both the Nanoparticle and 3D Printing Drug Delivery Systems in advanced technology platform. Prof. Dr. Kohinur Begum, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, all the faculty members, and about two hundred students were present at the seminar. The seminar was coordinated by Prof. Md. Moklesur Rahman Sarker (Ph.D.), Head of Academic & Research Affairs of the Department of Pharmacy. The seminar was so lively with the questions-answers and discussions among the keynote speakers, students, and faculty members on different aspects of research advancements in Nano-particle and 3D Printing Drug Delivery Systems. This new dimension of scientific seminar cherished stimulation and inspiration to the department’s students and younger faculty members.
