Mst. Nasrin Akter is a Assistant Professor of the Dept. of Journalism, Communication and Media Studies at State University of Bangladesh and editor of Campus Bulletin ‘Bijoy’. She earned her MSS and BSS degrees in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka. Her MSS thesis topic was ‘Construction of Masculinities in prime time TV commercials of Bangladesh; A Semiotic Analysis’. She started her career as a journalist at Channel i. She also has experience of working in the fields of research and public relations. She is also a film critic.
