Farzana Kabir is a Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy in State University of Bangladesh (SUB). She completed the Bachelor of Professional Pharmacy and Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from University of Dhaka with a CGPA of 3.98 (1 st in order of merit) and a GPA of 4.00 (1 st in order of merit), respectively. Due to her academic excellence, Farzana has been awarded with the prestigious Prime Minister Gold Medal (2018), Dean's Award (2017), Ashraf Dowla Memorial Gold Medal (2017), Kathashilpi Sarder Jainuddin Gold Medal (2017), Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society (BPS) Gold Medal (2017), Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall Trust Fund Scholarship (2019), Badrunnessa Gaffur Memorial Trust Scholarship (2014 & 2013) and Honor’s Scholarship (2017). Alongside, she was awarded with the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship (2019) by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh for her Master’s thesis project. Her research interest includes isolation and characterization of bio-active compounds from medicinal plants. Moreover, she has multiple trainings in the topics of computer-assisted drug development such as, ligand design, molecular modeling, and molecular docking. She also has a brief experience of working as Brand Executive in Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
